Are you looking for a local food stand of Karaage chicken in Japan? 😛
Let us introduce you to a fried chicken store that's located just around the corner from Konjaku-So Bentencho Osaka Bay!
Karaage (唐揚げ, 空揚げ, or から揚げ, [kaɾa aɡe]) is a Japanese cooking technique in which various foods—most often chicken, but also other meat and fish—are deep fried in oil. (Wikipedia)
We introduce the Chicken Karaage in this post ;P
The stand is located just a minute walk from Konjaku-So Bentencho. It’s so close that you can spot it by simply putting your face out the window. It takes less than 5 minutes on foot from Bentencho Station.

We've always been curious about the place, and finally, we found a perfect timing during the workday and made it there for the first time. ☺️
In the small and cozy shop, a lady was busy frying chickens.
Here is what it looked like.
The lady seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper, adding a delightful kick to it.
I couldn't help but wish for a pint of beer by my side... 😛
According to Google Maps, the restaurant is listed as open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., but there was some time they were closed during the hours. If you're staying at Konjaku-So Bentencho, I recommend you check the shop often ☺ Savor the local atmosphere and taste the delicious Karaage chicken!
